About the Event

Winter is the most Yin aspect of the year, we have longer darker evenings, colder weather and it's a time to go inwards. So what better than to get cosy, press pause on day to day life and enjoy a nourishing practice just for you.

It is believed that by hamonising oneself with the seasons you can stay healthy and prevent disease. In Chinese Medicine Winter is associated with the kidneys so we will focus on poses that open up and strengthen these and will learn some tips on how to nourish and look after the kidney energy over Winter.

The practice will finish with yoga nidra, a yoga meditation where you follow my guiding voice as you lie down and rest. It is said that 20 minutes of yoga nidra is equivalent to 2 hours of deep sleep, so get out the blanket.

This practice is open to everyone regardless of ability or experience. Props are required, but don't worry if you don't have yoga specific ones you can use pillows, cushions, books etc, all readily available at home.

    This ticket is to the live event and no recording will be provided post event.

    You can attend live and get a recording to replay at your leisure or get the recording if unable to attend live. The recording will be available for 2 months post the event, so you can enjoy all through Winter.
