CLINICAL MASSAGE

Clinical Massage Therapy focuses on the soft tissues of the body, working on the deeper layers of muscle tissue and fascia. It is both corrective and therapeutic and is geared  towards ordinary people living with pain.

It is beneficial on many levels and may help with:-

 

  • reducing muscular tension and pain

  • improving posture

  • increasing mobility and range of movement

  • reducing mental fatigue and stress

  • relaxation and rejuvenation

  • lower blood pressure

  • poor sleep

 

Conditions that I have successfully treated include:-

 

  • back and neck pain

  • hip and pelvis pain

  • frozen shoulder and rotator cuff issues

  • sciatica/piriformis syndrome

  • plantar fasciitis

  • carpal tunnel, tennis/golfers elbow

  • stress, tension and anxiety

  • pain in Pregnancy

  • face and jaw pain

 

I use a fusion of techniques including trigger point therapy, myofascial release, fascial unwinding, clinical and sports massage, orthopaedic assessment, soft tissue release, stretching, hot stones and cupping. Exercise and self-care advice are also provided to enhance your therapy session and speed up the recovery process.
